Laser Cut

LGV CORTE LASER e CORTE POR JATO DE ÁGUA provides tailor-made laser cut services, through which the pieces become precise, with high quality corners and shapes, keeping a perfect finish with reduced cost and speed in the execution.

LGV CORTE LASER e CORTE POR JATO DE ÁGUA has state-of-the-art machines for high precision laser cutting using the latest laser technology. The machines are equipped with a floating optics system which allows high speeds regardless of the sheet’s weight, following the strictest safety standards.

For external protection, all the work area is laterally isolated by polycarbonate windows, which protect against the reflex of the laser beam. Still, the work area’s visualization remains perfect.

Technology

Concerned about maintaining technological leadership at LGV CORTE LASER - CUT FOR JATO DE ÁGUA constantly seeks to update its product line. Our care begins in the selection of raw material suppliers that are approved by our product engineering and are mostly ISO 9001: 2000 certified companies.

  • High precision
  • Excellent cut surface quality
  • Minimum deformation levels, smoke and noise emissions
  • Minimum Thermally Affected Zone (ZTA)
  • Narrow (Kerf) bleeding, reducing material loss
  • High cutting speed
  • Extreme versatility when processing an immense variety of materials
  • Automated system that enables the cutting of complex geometric figures in 2D

Our manufacturing processes have an agile and uniform flow in all sectors, this is a highlight of production, which allows us great flexibility, optimization and competitive costs.

The Laser used by LGV CORTE LASER - CUT BY WATER JET is the Gas Laser considered the best regarding quality and cost x benefit. Below you can have a more comprehensive explanation of what Laser is and how it works.

In recent years technological developments have made it possible to reduce the cost of the initial investment in equipment and increase the power of these equipment by accrediting the LGV LASER CUT BY JET OF WATER process as an excellent option not only for an exclusively technical evaluation, as in the case of the processing of non-metallic materials, but also by a cost-benefit analysis for cutting metals.

It is with this vision that the LGV LASER-CUT-BY-WATER process becomes increasingly an emerging need in various companies.

What is Laser?

The Laser is the abbreviation of "Light Amplification by Stimulated Emission of Radiation", that is to say Amplification of Light by Stimulated Emission of Radiation.

It is a system that produces a coherent and concentrated beam of light through electronic stimulation or molecular transmissions to lower energy levels in an active medium (solid, liquid or gaseous). When applied in the processing of materials, it is verified that the high energy density of the Laser beam promotes the fusion and evaporation of these, in regions very localized as a function of the high thermal gradient generated.

Where is it used?

  • > Automobile (Assemblers and Autoparts)
  • > Mechanical Transformation (Machines, Equipment and Service Providers)
  • > Electronics (White and Brown Line)
  • > Transport (Road, Rail, Metro, Maritime, Air)
  • > Agricultural Implements
  • > Glass and Non Metallic

How does the Laser Cut process take place?

With the understanding that Laser promotes the melting and evaporation of materials in very localized regions, it can be concluded that a high speed, high speed continuous cutting process will only occur when added to this powerful energy beam a gas jet, which is obviously compatible with the material being processed. This gas is known as Service Gas, Process Gas or Cut Gas and has the purpose of expelling the particles from the material, as if it were "paving the way for cutting". The most commonly used Gases are Oxygen and Nitrogen.
